It was great to perform with you Sept 5 with Nick Matthis in Hartford. You are an outstanding trombonist and composer and fun to work with too! I also very much enjoyed your CD albums! Hope we play again together soon! Much success in your career, Saskia Laroo (trumpet / from Amsterdam, NL)

Hi Deb, I remember you, Lu was my dad, you comment made me cry. I miss him. I will be 20 years ago this August since he passed.

Hi Randy,
20 years already, wow! I was just in Las Vegas, performing with Diva, and saw a few friends from that time there. I will always think of your father when I remember the old union hall and all the music that was played there. Very special times! And yes, your father was very special to a lot of folks, not just me. I will never forget him.
Respectfully,
Deb

Hi, Deborah. Is Jen Krupa any relation to the great drummer Gene Krupa? Best wishes for a great 2009 to you and the rest of Diva. Best, Kurt

Hi Kurt,
Sorry for the delay in my reply. Yes, I believe Jen is related to Gene Krupa. You can send an email to her at the Diva website and the webmaster will make sure she receives it.
Best wishes to you as well for 2009!

Hello out there, I do read my guestbook and from time to time have to remove posts that are advertising for everything from motor scooters to stock tips and everything in between! Well, I will keep doing that, but thought it was time to post a link that I would like to share with anyone who may be interested.

http://mazenkerblog.blogspot.com/

Mazen is a musician/visual artist and a friend of mine. He lives in Beirut, Lebanon. He has posted this blog to share his perspective via drawings/words/music. My only intention is to share my friend's creativity with others.

Need I tell you that, while I'm mainly a rock and roll person, I've become a big fan of Diva and your music. How long have you been with them? Best wishes, and may Diva continue to enjoy great success!

Debbie-

It was so great to finally see you perform! You were amazing! The Diva Band was fabulous performing with Ann Hampton Callaway. I am working my way through my new CD's and I look forward to seeing you perform more often now that I am in NYC. And of course I look forward to seeing you more often as well!

Best-
Jill

Hi Deb. Just wanted to let you know how much i dig you're Cd. You write some nice stuff and the band is kickin. i especialy like andrews playing, nice sound and hip phrasing. Touch is a beauty. You sound nice throughout. Would be hip to hook up some time OUTSIDE of MCW.

OK, be cool and peace.

Deb,
Great web site! I am totally impressed. Everything comes through fine on the dial-up, although I must admit, I haven't tried to download a clip yet.

At any rate, you've come a long way since I showed you your first html code. Maybe you should be teaching my web design classes? =)

Best of luck with the new CD. I look forward to listening to it when I get back home.

Love,
Karen

Dear Deb,

The website looks spectacular. Lovely, cohesive design and everything seems in good working order. The music clips are very impressive. I want more photos in the photo gallery! How about some of your favorite quotes--musical and otherwise...otherWeisz...hmmm.
Also for those of us with Manhattan withdrawal symptoms who live across the great water, a skyline or two somewhere on the website would define where you are on the planet. It is good to see you on the web. I love the new CD Grace--the variety of expression, the rhythmic and melodic vitality and the humanity in the "ensemble feel" is totally energizing and inspiring. I will keep my favorite cuts to myself...
Love, Abbie

Deborah,
Great site and took only seconds to call up on my old fashioned dial up connection. Each categories is concise and informative. The photos are great but a bit blurry on my screen, which could be only on my end.
Let me know who designed your website...perhaps I should have one too although I think my audience is much much smaller.
I have listened to your "Grace" for the third time and it only gets better and better...congratulations and continued great playing.
Regards,
Peter
